About The Festival
Welcome to the Qualicum Beach Film Festival, where we showcase the best in independent cinema from around Vancouver Island. We will be selecting ten films that exemplify the diversity and talent of the film industry.
We Are Just Soldiers
The Qualicum Beach Film Festival is proud to present the first viewing of We Are Just Soldiers at the festival. Directed, produced, and written by our festival’s founder, Saffron Bisiker, We Are Just Soldiers is a World War II short film about two soldiers from opposite ends of the fight befriending each other despite the judgement of others.
We Are Just Soldiers will not be eligible to win any awards at the festival to avoid bias.
